I mostly use Apple Barrel Matte paint, but I use a variety of products depending on the medium. Check out my post about painting on a budget.
Big Twist is my favorite budget yarn brand. On occasion, I will also use Bernat Blanket yarn for plushies and Hobbii yarn for unique blends and colors.
Most of my yarn comes from Michaels, only shop there when items are on sale or you have a coupon.
I get most of my paint from Walmart and the supplies are a mix of Michaels on sale and Amazon.
A lot of great items can be found at thrift stores, too! I have found many canvases, yarn, beads, embroidery floss, and more for next to nothing. Plus, shopping secondhand keeps those items out of the landfill!
That is Jupiter! Thanks for asking. She appears at the bottom of most pages and is a super chill galaxy cat. She says she loves you and hopes you have a magical day.
I surprisingly hear this a lot and it always makes me sad. I am not a master of any craft either. I am pretty good at crochet, I feel like I make great websites, I am mediocre at painting and clay, and I can through most DIY projects. You don't have to be "good" at something if it makes you happy. You are making things for you, not anyone else. Plus, "good" is subjective. Believe in yourself and everything you make. Do what you enjoy and what makes you happy and you can never go wrong.

Sir, this is a blog. Just some notes from the yard that remain proudly unfiltered, unmonetized, and completely unoptimized for search engines. Hand-crafted for an audience of one (me), but you’re welcome to look around.
